“Chicago is the type of city that gets into your bones, deep in your soul. It may not be where you were born but it becomes home. Once you’ve lived there, it becomes a time and place against which everything else is measured.”

The summer months in Chicago are awesome! They do their best to make up for the cold winters. Many neighborhoods have festivals that celebrate for a few days or even a whole week! Festa Italiana, Ribfest, The Fireworks at Navy Pier and the Puerto Rican Day Parade are always a great time and just a few of the festivals you’ll want to check out.
